APCON Announces General Availability of IntellaCloud to Enhance AWS Network Visibility for NetOps and SecOps Teams
APCON, a leading provider of intelligent network packet broker solutions, today announced the general availability of IntellaCloud, an elastic cloud visibility solution, for Amazon Web Services (AWS) public cloud environments.
As a core component of APCON’s advanced hybrid visibility architecture, IntellaCloud can access network packets directly from cloud compute resources (instances), filter within the cloud and send them directly to existing security and monitoring tools. This provides flexibility, as packets from the cloud can be routed to tools in any other part of an organizations network, improving tool longevity, preventing and identifying network bottlenecks and enhancing security.
“Network professionals are struggling to maintain visibility in the cloud,” said Richard Rauch, president and CEO of APCON. “When securing their public cloud, organizations may deploy multiple security tools that all need access to data within the cloud. To work efficiently, these tools need to access the right information to avoid becoming overwhelmed by the amount of data. APCON’s IntellaCloud enables hybrid visibility and filters cloud traffic of interest to the appropriate areas of an infrastructure, enabling existing tools to work as efficiently as possible.”
Built on a micro-services infrastructure, IntellaCloud minimizes the impact on existing infrastructure and production networks. The user-friendly interface also provides network and security teams with simplified management and configuration procedures to mitigate errors and ensure security and monitoring tools are working efficiently.
APCON’s extensive line of next-generation visibility solutions provides enhanced network insights for security and performance monitoring. With APCON, organizations can confidently accelerate ongoing digital transformation initiatives by creating an end-to-end visibility fabric that enables advanced monitoring, securing and analysis of hybrid applications and infrastructures.
Additionally, APCON will be at the 2019 RSA Conference from March 4 – 8 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA. Stop by booth #3404 for a live demo of IntellaCloud.
