Cisco Live 2017: You are IT
Every year APCON attends Cisco Live, and this year was no different. It was another exciting, informative and fun-filled week. From the guest speakers like Tim Cook, CEO of Apple, and actor Bryan Cranston to the Bruno Mars concert, it seems like every year this conference keeps getting better.
Approximately 28,000 Cisco customers, partners and personnel gathered together to discuss and learn information technology trends, best practices and new approaches. Digital transformation was the conference’s main theme and cybersecurity was a popular topic among attendees.
While walking through the World of Solutions, there were plenty of opportunities to hear about the latest innovations in cybersecurity from Cisco and its partners – APCON being one of them.
APCON at Cisco Live
At Cisco Live, our booth was constantly lively with people wanting to know more about the latest network visibility and security solutions. Attendees were intrigued to learn about the capabilities of our IntellaStore appliance. The IntellaStore uniquely combines our network visibility technology and third party monitoring, performance and security tools on the same platform.
The IntellaStore demonstration also highlighted how easy it is to set up using our web-based GUI. Delegates were impressed with the convenience and functionality of having an all-in-one visibility and security appliance, which is an industry-first application. It’s no wonder it was a hit at the show.
At Cisco Live we also debuted our IntellaView Series 4000 platform. This integrated network visibility and security solution provides enterprises and service providers greater network performance and security insights at their remote sites, data centers, and in private and public cloud deployments.
Delegates working for large companies had an interest in the IntellaView Series 4000 platform because it delivers scalable solutions with greater bandwidth and high port densities.
IntellaView Series 4000 aggregates network traffic streams and applies advanced filtering technology and features such as deduplication, decryption and deep packet inspection capabilities. The IntellaView Series 4000 then distributes the optimized traffic to network performance and security analytics applications, making it the perfect solution for larger enterprises.
Throughout the conference we also had several discussions on monitoring data within the cloud. This led to great conversations about our new IntellaCloud solution. As companies begin moving workloads from data centers to public cloud environments, they often experience a lack of visibility in the cloud and a lack of scalable options. In response, we developed our IntellaCloud platform. It’s based on cloud-native microservices architecture to deliver scalable visibility across public cloud environments — no matter the size. IntellaCloud works well for companies with deployments in AWS in industries like healthcare, finance, government, energy and technology.
Until Next Year
We had an awesome time interacting with customers and attendees. We are already preparing for next year, and can’t wait to see what next year’s Cisco Live brings!
