Fast, High-Quality Signal Delivery

APCON's IntellaPort video routing blades are a state-of-the-art equipment connectivity solution intended to serve a number of markets, including:

  • Aerospace
  • Broadcast
  • Transportation
  • Gaming
  • Facilities

With this technology, engineers are able to electronically reconfigure video connections in a matter of seconds, assuring fast and accurate delivery of video signals without the hassle of time-consuming manual patching.

APCON solutions are ideal for high-bandwidth, long-distance video transport, as well as localized signal distribution. The added convenience of media conversion — copper-to-fiber and fiber-to-copper — allows installations to mix and match blades for a perfect-fit solution.

Resilient, Field-Expandable Units

APCON's routing switches are available in a range of sizes, and scale up to 288 ports in a compact 8RU frame.

All units can be populated on a per-blade basis, allowing IntellaPort to expand as network needs grow. Deploying smaller switches in lower port count locations and larger switches for higher density requirements provides additional efficiency.

Our system features the resiliency of redundant controllers and load-sharing power supplies, hot-swappable blades and transceivers, field-replaceable fan trays and a host of advanced diagnostic features.

Monitoring capabilities include link detection, signal monitoring, power supply status, temperature status and fan speeds.

Features

  • Field-expandable chassis available with 72-, 144- or 288-port configurations

Intuitive Connection Control

IntellaPort connections are controlled through a web-accessible interface that offers remote access and multi-user support. The at-a-glance patching screen features ports set into two logical groups — inputs and outputs — to allow engineers to streamline the process of routing transmissions.

Getting started with IntellaPort is easy! A convenient wizard-driven interface walks administrators through the configuration process, setting up device properties and user permissions. Additional software screens include a dashboard view of all existing connections, as well as a comprehensive system status screen.

APCON video routing switches also offer serial-based management for integration with third-party automation and control systems.

Video Routing Applications

APCON's IntellaPort video routing switches provide cost-effective advantages for any installation, including:

Aerospace — Our video switching family can be used to support everything from training modulators to command and control during real-time, in-flight transmissions.

Transportation — Our IntellaPort product line helps ensure fast and accurate delivery of critical video feeds from airports, train tracks, bus routes, and other transportation channels.

Broadcast — From offsite remote truck live feeds to post-house projects, APCON's IntellaPort video routing switchers provide a reliable system for keeping up with the broadcast industry's ever-changing landscape, increasing consumer demand and tight timelines.

Gaming — Video streaming helps casinos keep a close eye on customers and staff. IntellaPort provides the type of high-performance, steady, run-time routing solution required in this industry.
