APCON Announces 2008 Channel Partner of the Year Recipients
APCON recognizes Axial Systems, Shoshin and Universal
Technology for accomplishments
Wilsonville, OR, USA, March 26, 2009 – APCON, a leading manufacturer of network switching
solutions, today announced recipients for its 2008 Channel Partner Awards. Chosen
from amongst APCON's 38 partner companies, winners of the annual awards are:
Axial Systems (Berkshire, England) as the EMEA 2008 Channel Partner of the Year
Shoshin (Tokyo, Japan) as the Asia-Pacific 2008 Channel Partner of the Year
Universal Technology (Boston, Massachusetts) as the 2008 North America Channel Partner of the Year
"All of our partners contributed to making 2008 a banner year for us, but these three
in particular went above and beyond in promoting and expanding APCON's sales
distribution," said Mark Holmes, APCON Director of Sales.
Axial Systems captured significant European market
share in 2008, and played an essential role in introducing APCON solutions to
data centers in the region. The company has been successful at influencing European
Fortune 500s since signing on in late 2005.
Shoshin has been engaged in promoting APCON technology
for more than a decade. This long-term dedication to APCON and its continued
market expansion in Japan won Shoshin the APCON Asia-Pacific Channel Partner of
the Year.
Universal Technology showed remarkable results in
promoting APCON technology during 2008, focusing on introducing APCON products
to data centers in the Northeast. Universal Technology has been pro-actively
involved with customers and market development since 2003.
The three finalists were selected from amongst
APCON's 38 partner companies, which represent APCON technology in over 40
countries. Recipients were chosen based on a number of criteria including sales
performance, market growth, account generation and maintenance, commitment to
technical knowledge, and overall quality of representation.
